Summer Update

Summer is in full swing here in Wisconsin and all of us here at Marsy's Law hope that everyone enjoyed last week's Independence Day celebrations and all the fun that our great state has to offer! One of our favorite things about Summer in Wisconsin is all of the great festivals and events taking place all over the state. Our team has loved having the opportunity to travel to these events and spread the word about Marsy's Law and victims rights.

This past month, we had a great time at Butterfest in Reedsburg where we were able to meet lots of new supporters of Marsy's law and talk with victims about their stories. We also had the great opportunity to be participants at the Lantern Walk in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This fantastic event hosted by the Redeem and Restore Center helped to raise awareness about human trafficking. Our team was so grateful to be able to meet with victims of crime, victim service organizations, and supporters from all over Wisconsin.

This weekend, members of our team are up in Chippewa Falls at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. We've already had the opportunity to hear so many great stories of support and are looking forward to the rest of the fair! In August, Marsy's Law for Wisconsin will be at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis. We're really looking forward to being a part of this year's State Fair, and we're looking for volunteers! If you are interested in helping out by volunteering at our booth just reach out to Matt at: [email protected]The fair runs from August 2nd through August 12th and the booth hours are from 9:00AM-10:00PM.

Make sure to stay tuned for even more events that our team will be at throughout the Summer. We hope to see you there!

Stay cool,
