Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from Marsy's Law for Wisconsin! 

 

In the spirit of the holiday season, all of us on the Marsy's team wanted to share some of the things that we're thankful for.

 

Here in Wisconsin, we're grateful for the overwhelming support we've received from our state legislators who passed our bipartisan legislation on first consideration and have continued to show their support by pledging to stand with crime victims in the upcoming legislative session. 

 

Outside the Badger state, we're so thankful for victories at the national level which have ensured that residents in six more states now have equal rights for crime victims enshrined in their state constitutions. 

 

Most of all, we're so grateful for all of our grassroots supporters. From the police officers, district attorneys, and victim advocates who have spoken up for crime victims to the wonderful volunteers who have made all of our events such a success, we cannot thank you enough. And especially to all of the brave survivors who have shared their stories to help make Marsy's Law a reality, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts this holiday season.
