H.E.L.P. of Door County’s Steve Vickman, “Families have the right to understand what’s going on and to be able to speak in court”
The highlighted video features Steve Vickman, victim advocate for H.E.L.P. of Door County. Vickman became a supporter of Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin after both his work as a victim advocate and his own experience with the legal process after the murder of his sister when he was only 18 years old. “Families have the right to understand what’s going on and to be able to speak in court,” Vickman says in the video. “That never happened for us.”
