Started in 1979 as a telephone helpline for battered women, Green Bay-based Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence program serving victims in Brown County. According to the organization’s website, Golden House’s mission is to, “provide safety and support for victims of domestic abuse while leading efforts to end domestic violence in our community.”
