My name is Jess and I’m one of the interns for Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin this Fall. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and I’m studying Psychology, Social Welfare, and Criminal Justice. I will be graduating this December and then going on to grad school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I am a volunteer at the Rape Crisis Center and at the Domestic Abuse Shelter, and my time at these places has piqued my interest in victim’s rights and the legal process. Taking classes at UW Madison in legal studies has inspired me to add a certificate in Criminal Justice to my degree and intern with Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin. I am very passionate about victim’s rights, and I look forward to meeting with you!

Sincerely,

Jess
