February Travels

This February, the Marsy's Law for Wisconsin team has been keeping busy traveling around the state of Wisconsin and speaking to residents about victims' rights!

Recently the Marsy’s Law team attended the La Crosse Boat, Sports, Travel, RV and Hunting Show in La Crosse, Wisconsin. We had the pleasure of talking with hundreds of supporters at this great show.

This month our State Director, Luke, was also able to attend the 2019 Wisconsin Police Leadership Foundation Mid-Winter Training Conference and the Wisconsin Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs Association Conference. Wisconsin's law enforcement community has always been a huge part of our grassroots coalition, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to speak with these officers about the victims they encounter daily in the line of duty. 

We love traveling the state and talking with people from all walks of life! I was able to talk with victims about their experiences and how Marsy’s Law could have helped them through the criminal justice process. I was able to chat with supporters who wanted to join our fight for equal rights for crime victims here in Wisconsin!

We'll be continuing our visits to communities around Wisconsin in the coming weeks and months and hope to see you there.
