As you may know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and our team has appreciated the opportunity to get involved in various efforts to raise awareness about the cycle of domestic violence.
Hello! My name is Jess and I’m one of the interns for Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin this Fall. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and I’m studying Psychology, Social Welfare, and Criminal Justice. I will be graduating this December and then going on to grad school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

As we near the last weeks of Summer in Wisconsin, I have some bittersweet news for our Marsy's Law for Wisconsin team and all of our fantastic grassroots supporters.
It’s been a busy summer for Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin! We’ve been traveling the state to meet with our friends and neighbors about the importance of Marsy’s Law and advocate for its passage next April.
The Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin team had an exciting week in the northern part of the state at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. We had the chance to talk to fair attendees about the importance of Marsy’s Law and what it means for the state of Wisconsin.
Today through July 14, Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin will be at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair in Chippewa Falls, talking to voters about our amendment to Wisconsin’s constitution to ensure equal rights for Wisconsin’s crime victims.
My name is Jack and I am a new summer intern at Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin! I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a major in Neurobiology with a Certificate in Criminal Justice and Leadership. I will be entering my senior year in September and intend on applying to law school following undergrad.
Now that Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin successfully cleared the legislative process, Wisconsin residents will have the chance to vote on the initiative next April. Our team will be working to ensure Wisconsin voters understand how important it is to stand up for crime victim’s rights.
